Goodyear Extreme Rock Crawling Championships
March 10-11, Y2K, the hardest of the hard-core came together to attack the tight, rocky canyons outside of Phoenix, AZ. They competed in Woodpecker Canyon, in the tightest obstacles, up the steepest faces... ARCA's expert course-setters, drawn from local clubs, selected the most difficult paths, forcing competitors to thread their way through tightly spaced flags over the most unlikely and difficult lines... This terrain chews wheelers up and spits them out, snapping axles, breaking beads, and scarring sheetmetal.

Thousands of spectators watched some of the greatest wheelers in the world drive extreme vehicles to compete for ARCA championship points and bragging rights.
