Vehicle Specification Requirements
(from the ARCA 2000 Cedar City Program)
Any vehicle not meeting these requirements will be disqualified from the event. These requirements are meant for the safety of the driver, spotter, Judges and spectators. There are no exceptions.
- Vehicle must be street legal with current license/registration tags.
- Vehicle must be equipped with a full roll cage or have a hard metal top.
- Vehicle must have a minimum tire diameter of 33".
- Vehicle must have working seatbelts.
- Vehicle must have front and rear locking differentials.
- Vehicle must have an accessible charged fire extinguisher on both driver and passenger sides.
- Vehicle must have a firewall and a hood.
- Vehicle must have a rollover valve in its gas tank vent line. Vehicles may be required to test for fuel fillage on an RTI ramp.
- Vehicle must have a winch capable of extracting vehicle. Winch cables may be inspected for wear. (Worn out cables and hook joints will not be allowed.)
- Vehicle must have a non-vented gas cap.
- All parts, tools, accessories, and materials need to be securely fastened down to the vehicle.
- Vehicle must have a First Aid kit.
Note: Both Driver and Spotter MUST sign competition waiver at check-in!
